Youth In Action
Volunteer West Island works in partnership with Members of the National Assembly of Quebec to promote volunteering among young people in the West Island. The Youth In Action (YIA) Volunteer Challenge recognizes those who become involved in their community.
Volunteer West Island is excited to announce the return of the Youth in Action Volunteer Challenge for the 2024-2025 school year! Students participating in the challenge will be entered to win one of 5 scholarships to recognize their efforts as volunteers and active members of their communities. All students who participate in the YIA Volunteer Challenge will receive a certificate of participation signed by VWI and the participating MNA’s. The challenge runs from September 15th, 2024 to March 15th, 2025. If you are interested in participating in the challenge, register as a volunteer on our website.
